At once a silo, he made her his cut. On being a cut, she made him her utensil. On being [...] The first day of skiing each season is always a little on the iffy side … and yesterday was no different. Headed up to Solitude and could pretty much tell right from the start that it was not going to be a fabulous day when I had trouble getting my boots on. I guess [...] After skiing this past Monday with Mama T. and one of the ferners at the ‘Tude on Monday … today I skied Snowbird (for the first time) with the short one, who was very, very patient with me, because the runs she took me on (with the exception of the first warm-up run) were definitely [...] Looks like we’re gonna have us some cyclocross weather for the first race of the Utah Cyclocross Series tomorrow up in Ogden. That’s snow falling in the pictures below. My thermometer is indicating 35 degrees outside right now; and while tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and warmer (mid-60s for the high), it ought to [...] Officially, only 7 more inches of fresh pow at Solitude, but Snowbird got 22 inches, so I’m betting there are some stashes of deep hidden away at Solitude … Drinking my morning coffee; then shower, get dressed and I’m out! Pics later! [...] Is it possible to still have a hangover two days after a party? Saturday was the Utah State CX Championships; as previously mentioned, I finished my race … but that’s about all I did. My back has been bothering me; so I rolled easy for much of my “race” … I even stopped for a [...] |
