Solitude looms high,       alone in the canyons, silence—    take time to listen.

Leaves rustle,       trees whispering in the wind,    dew drips down.

Full moon rises    in the night sky, moonlight       obscured by clouds.

Darkness descends,       firelight dwindles, reduced to coals    that crackle no more.
