Interesting weekend, coming to a close … went out to dinner with a great friend on Thursday night for some yummy goodness at Squatters downtown, then a quiet day at work on Friday. Saturday was supposed to be a ski day, but unfortunately, the tiny little headache I woke up with on turned into a [...] Vikings beat the Packers last night to go 4-0 on the season thus far. Twins beat the Tigers tonight to win the American League Central division and into the playoffs. Now, hopefully, they’ll be able to take on and beat the Yankees. Game 1 tomorrow at the new Yankee Stadium. Yeah, I know … [...] I know some people will disagree with me, but I really hope the New England Patriots win the Stupor Bowl tonight … if only to take the “only perfect season” record out of the Dolphins’ hands … But I also really hope the Patriots have a terrible year next year … truly wretched, as in [...] Anyone who knows me well also knows that when it comes to ball sports (at least the major ball sports), I could really give a rat’s ass … except on those rare occasions when the Minnesota Twins are in the World Series, or the Minnesota Vikings are in the play-offs battling for a spot in [...] |
