I run the email mailing list for the Cutthroat Racing team, which means, that I get to see all of the lovely administrative emails (and spam) that come through the server, and make sure they don’t get delivered to the rest of the list. Recently, some of our emails have been getting rejected by one [...] You betcha, and if you weren’t there (for the race or the food), then you missed out. The Heber Fairgrounds course is pan-flat, and yet, still very technical, with hard dirt, soft dirt, mud, horse poop, sand, gravel, lots and lots of bumpy grass, s-turns and more, making this a true cyclocross course, rather than [...] Did my first ever Alley Cat race tonight; and boy did I suck ass … to be expected since a) I’ve never done one before; b) I rode earlier today and was already cooked; and c) I chose to ride the fixed-gear tonight. But that wasn’t really the point. The point was to raise money [...] Not that I’ve been working so hard I really need to “recover”, but it’s still another ride under my belt. First day back on the bike since my fitting with Dave Harward this past Monday, and my most recent adjustment by Greg Freebairn on Wednesday. I would have been out sooner, but it’s been a busy, busy week. Obviously, the fitting took up Monday night; Tuesday was a late session with my counselor; Wednesday was [...] Went for a nighttime snowshoe outing with the Mistress, Cutthroat Jenny, and Indohran/Slohran (who pretty much went out on his very first snowshoe excursion tonight). Not only was this Slohran’s first outing on snowshoes, but he went out and bought snowshoes and boots today before giving the whole thing a try. This means, of course, [...] This weekend’s CX race at Wheeler Farm (on 9th East, about 6500 South, across from RC Willey) is on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5, not Saturday. I will be rejoining the puke-aton this weekend, so even if you’re not racing, come out to the Farm to watch me die. C Men/B Women/Juniors at 10:00 B Men/Singlespeed [...] After today’s UT CX race at RMR, Indohran, the Gallaghers, Brownie, A-Train and I went to Barbacoa at 9th and 9th for lunch (although, it was more like breakfast for me, even if it was 3:00pm).
