Looks like I might get lucky and get some instant equity in the condo … the final report won’t be ready until Wednesday morning, but the word I’ve got is that the appraiser did 9 comps of other similar units in Holladay, and of those only one sold/appraised below my offer …

I’m surprised I’m not feeling more anxiety about this whole condo-purchase process … maybe the crazy doctors (as the Newb puts it) have got me on the right drugs and in the right frame of mind for once in my life.

Home inspection this evening; everything seemed to go well.

Photos of my new home, assuming financing doesn’t fall through.

Offer Accepted

Saturday, made an offer on a decent little Eastside condo in Holladay.

Monday, the offer was accepted.

Assuming financing doesn’t fall through, I’ll close 8/30, take possession on 8/31, and move in during September.
