If I can become a tenth as good as these guys, then I will consider my ski “career” a success. Go out and rent or buy this movie. Then watch it over and over and over for inspiration. Then go ski. And then watch it again. Then ski some more. Ski lots more. Then [...] I took today (Friday) off work … the weather has been so nice the past few days, and since I didn’t get a chance to ski last weekend due to digestive issues related to a change in diet (8 pounds lost so far!), I was going stir-crazy by Wednesday. Put in for a vacation day [...] Oh my God, what an incredible freakin’ day today. Pal Scotty and I went up to Park City to ski Deer Valley (my first time at any of the Park City resorts) … and I cannot believe how incredible a day it was. The sky was blue, the sun was out, the temps were [...] Why is it that ski apparel manufacturers seem to think that people fit one particular body type? Seems like all the ski apparel manufacturers think that if you have a 37″ waist, you also have a 35″ inseam … I’m 5’9″, not 6’3″. And if not that, then the manufacturers think that the wearers are [...] I took my Garmin Edge 305 up to Solitude with me today, just to see where all I skied on a topo map, as well as to keep track of how far I actually skied.
