Bay Area memories

Sitting at the airport waiting for my plane, waiting for my plane, waiting for my plane … to arrive.

At last check my flight was still on time, but I got through check-in and security fast enough that I’m just waiting and waiting and waiting.

Will be nice to get home and back to sleep in my own bed; but is also truly sad to leave the Bay Area behind again. I will definitely have to come back before another 7 years and 8 months have gone by … and thankfully, I have very good reason to return to the Bay Area as often as I can afford.

Had a great time in Redwood City and Palo Alto, went to San Francisco to visit some friends’ bar in the Inner Mission, popped in at my old bike shop in Sausalito to say hello to Tony, went to the Bay Model, the Cantor Art Center at Stanford, and seeing some other friends I haven’t seen in over 20 years.

But all good things must come to and end, and it’s time to return home to the 801.

  1. Awww, sounds like you need a change, Steven. I always get sad when leaving SF Bay area as well, but that’s probably b/c I know I am returning to Rottenchester. Tell Haley I say Hello!
