So David Bernstein from the Fredcast sends a tweet last night indicating that there will be a little tweet-up BBQ at the Land Rover-Orbea tent in front of the 8th Ward LDS Chapel on 5th South at 3rd East.

So before I headed downtown today, I threw a few bottles of Belgian barley pop in my messenger bag, and made a little stop at Whole Foods to pick up some tasty grillables to throw on the fire. Don’t worry, the barley pops were consumed on the street in FRONT of the chapel, not actually on church property. I do have some respect, after all.

Norrene and another David made me feel quite welcome while we waited for the arrival of David from the Fredcast and Neal from Road Magazine to show up. The food was delicious. The barley pops were shared and consumed, and I had a great time shooting photos of the crit.

Still going through the whole bunch, but found two that I felt showed the LRO team in a very positive light, and figured I’d send them off to Norrene and give a little shout-out here.

So here ya go:

Thanks for everything LRO … I’ll be following this team far more closely in the future.
