Ain’t nuthin’ like a pancake flat ride in hazy polluted inversion air to start the year off right … but that first ride is now in my legs.

Rode out to the Great Salt Lake Marina with a friend I’ve not seen in about 18 months and his father, a little underdressed, as my toes, fingers, and face were definitely feeling numb both at the turnaround point, and when we got back to the car.

Even so, it felt good to breathe (even if it was smog), and get the legs turning over … I’m sore now; will likely be even more so tomorrow, but that doesn’t really matter. I got it done.
