Another little bit of word wisdom from one of my favorite poets in the Guerilla Poetics Project.

making lemonade

whenever anything went
wrong my father
would say,

“when life hands you
a lemon, son, make

it is probably something
he read on a stupid
poster in one of those
inspirational stores every
mall in america has.

but, sitting alone in this
hellhole of an
apartment, i need to know
what i do when life
hands me a steaming
pile of shit.
