On the road again …

Had my appointment with Greg Freebairn yesterday, and I definitely feel like I am in more capable hands than I was with the first chiropractor I went to see a couple weeks ago, even if he’s not covered as a preferred provider on my current insurance plan; if it makes me comfortable again, then it’s worth it.

Greg suggested that I contact Dave Harward of Plan 7 Endurance Coaching to get re-fit to my bike.

Thinking about it, that’s probably an extremely good idea, because I haven’t changed my position since I got the Richard Sachs dialed in at the end of 2003; and that was based off of the position that I’d had on my Ron Cooper for the 6 years prior to that … since I know my body has changed in the past 9+ years, it would make sense that my position on my bike should be changing as well.

So as it stands right now, I’m going back to see Greg on Wednesday for a follow-up appointment, and to set-up a treatment schedule, and I should be going to see Dave H. early next week.

In many ways, this has been the best start to a cycling season that I’ve had since I’ve been in Utah, and I don’t want an injury to bring that down any further than it already has … I think I’m on the right path here.
