What do companies like Cane Creek, Verge Sport, Rudy Project, Selle San Marco, Oval Concepts, Challenge Tires, Joe Bell Custom Paint, Pacenti Cycle Design, and Crank Brothers all have in common? For years, they have been and continue to be committed to helping the CYBC/Richard Sachs Cyclocross Team riders have successful seasons in one of the sport’s most beautiful disciplines.

Since 1997, CYBC/Richard Sachs team members have won 9 National Championships in nearly every category, most notably Jonathan Page, who won the first of his 3 consecutive US National Championships while riding for this team.

CYBC/Richard Sachs riders have been chosen to be on the U.S. National Team roster for the Cyclocross World Championships on at least 5 occasions.

For the first season since 1998, the team is without a major outside industry sponsor to help financially.

Therefore, team sponsor Richard Sachs has listed for auction on eBay the opportunity to be a presenting sponsor for the 2005 cyclocross season.

All money collected will be for the racers, their traveling expenses, entry fees, and all costs related to staying “on the road” from mid-September through January 2006.

Ideally, the winning bidder will be a corporation, or will have a product that will benefit from the exposure and goodwill that is generated when aligned with a successful racing team.

In return for becoming a supporting sponsor, the winning bidder’s product, and/or his or her company will have the right to be prominantly displayed on the 2005 team clothing, soon to be designed and produced.
